Each year the County Annual Report is dedicated to someone who has made an impact on Grafton County. The Commissioners each choose a resident from their district to dedicate the report to. Click on the images below for a larger view.
Commissioner Cryans chose Doug and Meredith Smith from Enfield. Doug was an incorporator and the first President of the Enfield Village Association. Meredith was appointed Chair of the Heritage Commission, which preserves and protects resources with historic value. Both have dedicated much of their time and passion to the improvement of Enfield.
Commissioner Richards chose Peter and Pam Martin from Plymouth. Both Peter and Pam have retired from their respective careers and now spend much of their time communicating, educating, debating , attending numerous legislative hearings and standing up for the thousands of us potentially affected by the Northern Pass Project.
The late Commissioner Burton’s choice as a dedicatee was Dianne L. Rappa from Bath. Dianne has been involved with a host and long list of activities both at the town and regional level. She retired in 2012 from the North Country YMCA where she held the title of Executive Director/CEO. She currently serves on the NH Governor’s Council on Physical Activity & Health- which she helped set up in 1992 and is Executive Director of the NH Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
