Areas of achievement or current and prior jobs:

Commissioner Morris has advanced graduate education in Political Science with a specialization in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Mass Institute of Technology.  She earned her Certificate in Community Mediation from Harvard Law School and fulfilled her internship at Quincy District Court, MA. She has many years administrative, management and development experience in university, private business, and non-profit settings before serving as the statewide Program Coordinator for the American Friends Service Committee, based in Hartford CT. Since 2005, when she moved to the Newfound Lake Region take care for family, she has served as a journalist, including a stint as editor for the Record Enterprise Newspaper, covering the 18 towns which comprise Grafton County Du strict 3. Commissioner Morris is trained as a hospice volunteer and served on the board at Pemi Baker Community Health.  She served on the Board of Communities for Drug Free Youth and served a volunteer at the Bridge House Homeless Shelter in Plymouth. She is also a trained facilitator for the National Alliance for Mental Illness and has served as a family support group leader.
