Staffing:
Seven maintenance staff and four custodians
Role
of Department:
Performs campus-wide facility repair, maintenance and plant
operations; Operates and maintains county’s water storage &
distribution system; sewage pump stations; emergency generators; and
maintains grounds and parking lots year-round; Performs custodial
upkeep of the county’s Administrative Building, Community
Corrections and Courthouse buildings.

Approximately
300,000 sqft of facilities comprised ofthecourthouse,
nursing home, jail, administrative buildings, barns and outbuildings
360,000-gallon water storage tank & distribution system
Approximately 30-40 acres of complex grounds, parking lots &
county cemetery

Statement:
Perform quality workmanship and follow sound stewardship practices
that result in safe, clean and well-maintained facilities &
grounds in addition to cost efficient operations.
