Pay Rate:  $14.64 per hour

Temporary, Part-Time

2 days per week with some flexibility

Job summary: Under the general supervision of the Officer in Charge, Correctional Officers are responsible for providing care, custody, and control over sentenced and pre-sentenced male and female inmates at the facility.

Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent; must possess a valid driver’s license; must meet physical fitness requirements on a yearly basis; must meet all physical and mental requirements as required by the New Hampshire Retirement System. Candidates must submit to a thorough background investigation and criminal record check. Candidates must successfully pass the physical fitness test. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for preparation, set-up, serving and clean-up of meals.  Performing daily cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of high school. Knowledge of proper hygiene and sanitation techniques for food preparation and distribution. Ability to utilize knowledge of special diets and resident preferences. Requires patience, ability to read, write and communicate routine information, as well as ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Must  be able to walk and stand continuously, to push and pull equipment periodically and to lift 50 pounds.
