Job summary: Under the general supervision of the Officer in Charge, Correctional Officers are responsible for providing care, custody, and control over sentenced and pre-sentenced male and female inmates at the facility.

Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent; must possess a valid driver’s license; must meet physical fitness requirements on a yearly basis; must meet all physical and mental requirements as required by the New Hampshire Retirement System. QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires patience, ability to read, write and communicate routine information, as well as ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Under the general supervision of the Food Service Director, responsible for preparing food in accordance with standardized recipes, planned menus, and special diet orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Duties require knowledge of food preparation and distribution equivalent to completion of a high school diploma plus additional courses from a two year college or technical school and one to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of proper hygiene and sanitation techniques; ability to adapt recipes to meet the needs of modified diets, ability to prep and cook a variety of foods in large quantities; ability to work effectively with residents, co-workers, and nursing home personnel. Must take ServSafe training and obtain certification within one (1) year of hire.

Alternative Sentencing Director

 JOB SUMMARY:

Duties to include overseeing, managing and directing the Alternative Sentencing Department including the overall day to day operations of the Mental Health Court, Juvenile Diversion Program and Adult Diversion Program. Ability to network with community and state stakeholders; develops, reviews, evaluates and oversees each of the programs within the Department; develops written protocol and procedures for the Alternative Sentencing Programs, manages a caseload of participants as needed to include setting up case plans and ensuring participant compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, behavioral health, social services or related field. Appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of degree; must be licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor within the State of N.H., working knowledge of the criminal justice and human service therapeutic fields, strong supervisory skills with prior supervisory experience, experience developing and managing budgets.
