LNA TRAINING OPPORTUNITY OFFERED AT GRAFTON COUNTY

Have you thought about becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant but maybe you haven’t had the time or the money to take the class? We would like to help with that! Grafton County is offering a great opportunity for full-time employment AND sponsorship to complete the LNA training program held at the nursing home. Selected applicants would be employed full-time in a Unit Aide position while enrolled in the training program. Once licensed, participants would then transfer into a vacant LNA position.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs cleaning duties using specialized equipment and chemicals in order to maintain a clean, safe and aseptic environment for residents, staff and public.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma and up to one (1) year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read, write and communicate routine information. Requires ability to perform manipulative skills such as sweeping, washing, mopping and buffing. Involves continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
