Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with 7-10 years geriatric and rehabilitative nursing and leadership experience. LNA TRAINING OPPORTUNITY OFFERED AT GRAFTON COUNTY

Have you thought about becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant but maybe you haven’t had the time or the money to take the class? We would like to help with that! Grafton County is offering a great opportunity for full-time employment AND sponsorship to complete the LNA training program held at the nursing home. Selected applicants would be employed full-time in a Dietary Aide position while enrolled in the training program. Once licensed, participants would then transfer into a vacant LNA position.

Responsible for preparation, set-up, serving and clean-up of meals.  Performing daily cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of high school. Knowledge of proper hygiene and sanitation techniques for food preparation and distribution. Ability to utilize knowledge of special diets and resident preferences. Requires patience, ability to read, write and communicate routine information, as well as ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Must  be able to walk and stand continuously, to push and pull equipment periodically and to lift 50 pounds.
